NIS Directive: Meeting NCSC’s Mobile Security Guidance
The NIS (Networks and Information Systems) Directive is a high-level directive designed to help improve EU security in critical industries. As of May 9, 2018, member states must have transposed the directive into domestic legislation.

According to new rules from the British Government, UK transport, water, energy and health businesses could be fined as much as £17 million ($23.9 million) “if they don’t have the ‘most robust’ safeguards in place to guard against cyber-attacks,” as reported by CNBC.

In the UK, the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), a part of the UK’s GCHQ, will be providing technical support and guidance.

In this event, attendees will learn about:
- Which organizations must meet the NIS Directive
- The mobile attack surface and current mobile threats facing the enterprise
- How to ensure mobile device data is protected appropriately while meeting regulatory guidance provided by NCSC
